Aloka Co., Ltd., The Innovator in Ultrasound for more than 50 years, introduces two ultrasound systems with dedicated platforms for advanced cardiac and vascular imaging, the Alpha 10 and Alpha 7.
WALLINGFORD, CT - Aloka Co., Ltd., The Innovator in Ultrasound for more than 50 years, announced today the introduction of two ultrasound systems with dedicated platforms for advanced cardiac and vascular imaging, the Alpha 10 and Alpha 7.
The Alpha 10, Aloka’s premium system, incorporates all of the standard cardiovascular features such as stress echo, TDI/strain, TEE transducers, full reporting capabilities, DICOM networking, and more--as well as Aloka’s new exclusive cardiovascular features, including:
- Echo Tracking (eTracking) for early detection of atherosclerosis
- Free Angular M-mode (FAM)
- Neonatal TEE
Aloka’s sleek, new Alpha 7 system provides outstanding image quality for mid-level and office based imaging.
The Alpha 7 offers a comprehensive suite of cardiovascular capabilities in a compact chassis for those facilities where space is at a premium.
Both systems employ the same technology that has made Aloka’s name synonymous with reliability, giving Aloka top rankings in MD Buyline’s customer satisfaction ratings.
David Famiglietti, Chief Operating Officer at Aloka said, “We are excited to have such a powerful combination of products for the cardiac and vascular markets. With the outstanding overall performance of the Alpha 7 and Alpha 10, Aloka has taken a major step forward in expanding the many ultrasound applications and markets we serve.”
“I am very impressed with the performance of Aloka’s Alpha 10,” said Robert Reach, RDCS, a cardiac ultrasound sonographer at Piedmont Cardiology in Hickory, NC, who has evaluated the system. “The grayscale imaging has excellent detail--and the quality of the color/Doppler is outstanding. The Alpha 10 performs as well as or better than any other premium cardiac system I have used.”
